Dead or Alive session at Royal Panda casino

A new casino to try following feedback on the Casinomeister forum by one particular poster that complained he is getting very poor play time at Royal Panda casino.

A deposit of £25 was made and the usual strategy of varying the bet depending on the balance was applied. The session lasted a very respectable 1,578 spins with the overall RTP sitting at 87%.

Paying win lines during normal play was particularly good as the below table shows. The double sheriff badge win was the highest win for the session paying £20.

What was very disappointing were the number of bonus rounds (just the 6) and the pay out of these – a very poor 7x bet on average.

To summarise. It was the wins during ordinary play that kept the session lasting some 2.5 hours and making the RTP pretty good. Had it not been for these wins, I would have experienced similar play time to the poster on the Casinomeister forum.

Three Dead or Alive sessions played on 12th September 2015

Three casinos, three sessions on the Netent slot Dead or Alive with the same result – no significant wins.

The first of the three sessions was at Guts Casino. The money played through was free thanks to winnings on 10 free spins on Starburst (£0.90) and 55 free spins on Dead or Alive. Total starting point was therefore £5.85.

This lasted a total of 325 spins (RTP of 80%) with 5 bonus rounds paying an average of 11x bet. No big winning pay lines during normal play.

Play through was as follows:

A few click with the mouse later, and Unibet casino was loaded into the web browser. A deposit of £25 started off pretty well with one bonus round paying 130x bet. This luck didn’t last very long and the session lasted a total of 801 spins on a mixture of £0.18 and £0.09 bets. A very disappointing 2 bonus rounds in total during the session with a low overall RTP of just 72.4%:

The final of the three sessions was at Videoslots with free money thanks to cashback and race money. 566 spins later and we’re still awaiting the win line:

Dead or Alive session at Unibet on 8th September 2015

The last session before work calls was one at Unibet casino. A total of £25 was deposited.

Unlike previous sessions, all of the spins were made at £0.09 a go rather than starting higher and decreasing as the balance drops. The reason for this is to get as many spins in as cheap as possible to get to a total number of spins that gets closer to the slot giving a wild line.

Whilst this way of playing the machine is not guaranteed to result in the desired effect, it must be remembered that the more you play the slot the greater the chance of a big win. The key to being in profit is the amount you put in before that win comes. Anything less than the win and you’re in profit, anything more and you have reduced your losses.

The session lasted a disappointing 1,587 spins with just the 9 bonus rounds (one every 176 spins on average) that paid a paltry 21x bet on average. What this session kept going were the whiskey jars and sheriff badges wins.

Play statistics are as follows:

There will be no more play until Saturday when play will resume with free money. So far £5 earned via Videoslot’s weekly race, cashback money to come this Friday from Videoslots too and lastly any winnings from the 25 free spins on Starburst and the 55 free spins on Dead or Alive at Guts casino.

Out of interest, since the last mega win on this slot, a total of 12,175 spins have been made with a total of 70 bonus rounds. Is it time for a big win during the next session or two?

Reasonable play at Guts casino on Dead or Alive slot

This was my 1st deposit at Guts casino. I usually don’t deposit at casinos that charge you a fee when depositing money with a Visa debit card, but because of a contest on the Casinomeister forum and the 100% deposit match bonus, I made an exception.

The £25 that was deposited turned instantly into £50 with a very high wagering requirement. A big win was therefore not desired. The purpose of this session was to get more spins and bonus rounds under the belt.

Some 616 spins into the session I almost hit the wild line for a big win with more than £750 still to be wagered. On this occasion, thankfully the win was 346x bet. As always, the bonus round win was captured on video and posted on our Youtube channel:

The overall session returned to player 84.5% of the amount wagered with a total of 2,168 spins on a mixture of £0.27, £0.18 and £0.09 bets. Total bonus rounds given by the slot was 14, meaning that it triggered every 154 spins on average.

Session statistics are as follows:

25 free spins on Starburst slot are coming my way tomorrow as well as 55 free spins on Dead or Alive, so hopefully winnings from these are going to give me some more play time at this casino.

Dead or Alive session at Unibet on 6th and 7th September 2015

In the quest to get those 5 scatters during normal play at the Netent slot Dead or Alive, a deposit of £25 was made at Unibet casino last night. The session was split over two days.

The first 100 spins were made at £0.18 a go but there was nothing significant to report or anything to get excited about. To make the money last, the best size was quickly dropped to £0.09 which lasted another 975 spins making the total RTP for the session 76.4%.

A total of 6 bonus rounds were awarded that paid on average 25x the bet size.

It has now been 8,520 spins and 48 bonus rounds since the last 5 wild line win. According to posts on forums on the internet, it takes 125 bonus rounds on average for this kind of win to be given by the slot. Those same posts also calculate a bonus round every 125 spins. According to these calculations, every 125 x 125 = 15,625 spins you should get a big win.

If we were to go by that scenario, play over the next 7,105 spins should result in 77 bonus rounds (or a bonus round every 92 spins) which given recent play time is very unlikely.

I have therefore signed up at Guts casino for a 100% deposit match to make the money last longer. Furthermore, 55 free spins on Dead or Alive will be credited to my account thanks to a contest on the Casinomeister forum. In addition to this, I will get some wager free spins on Starburst.

The play statistics for the Unibet session are as follows:

Dead or Alive slot session on Saturday 5th September 2015

Following the rather short session at Casino Room as described in the previous post, it was time to deposit the last time for the day, this time at Betat Casino.

£25 was debited from my bank account (no fees for depositing by debit card at this casino or any of the other ones that are recommended by us!) but it disappeared too soon.

Just the 976 spins of which 100 where at £0.18 and the balance of 876 at £0.09 a spin. Total RTP for the session was just a shambolic 74.2% with only 5 bonus rounds, meaning one of those every 195 spins on average. The first 3 bonus rounds didn’t pay too bad at 31x, 45x and 44x the bet size. High win lines during normal play were almost as bad as it could have been – just the one more than nothing!

The rather forgettable table how play progressed:

Dead or Alive session at Casino Room – revenge of the slot

As per the previous post, a £75 deposit was made. Not at Videoslots this time but at Casinoroom instead. Why not Videoslots? I set a deposit limit at the casino to test whether this facility works. It certainly does because it prevented me from making the deposit because it exceeded the weekly allowance of £25 that I set.

As per the title of this topic, Dead or Alive took revenge by means of taking money given back rather quickly. A very poor RTP of just the 71.2% resulted in the money lasting just the 1,603 spins. And that is after the stake was lowered to £0.09 once the money started to go down to £18.

Bonus rounds were also very far and few between. A total of 8 were given by the slot (once every 200 spins on average) and they paid a very poor 16x bet on average. Even the paying picture symbols on a winning line during normal play were like gold dust – just the two during the session with the cowboy hats being the biggest payer.

Despite me saying in the last post that things could only get better, well they certainly didn’t as the play statistics demonstrate:

Perhaps you are more lucky than me playing at the excellent Casinoroom:

A mistake deposit results in an unexpected win at Casino Cruise

Browsing on Google for casinos that offer deposit bonuses for new accounts, I stumbled across Casino Cruise. A 100% match was attractive enough, so I deposited £25 which was matched instantly by £25.

The Netent slot Dead or Alive was loaded but upon the first spin, an error message appeared notifying me that there were not sufficient funds available to play. On checking the terms and conditions attached to the welcome bonus, it transpired that this slot is excluded when playing with bonus money. An error on my part for not reading the terms and conditions properly.

Thankfully, I could reverse the bonus so I was left with £25 to play with. This mistake (I wouldn’t have deposited at the casino if there wasn’t this welcome bonus) turned out to be one of the better sessions I had on the slot.

The end result was a withdrawal of £58.11 thanks to good play time and a generous bonus round that paid 408x bet. During the 1,165 spins played, a total of 12 bonus rounds were awarded (one every 97 spins) and I had a sheriff badge win line during normal play.

This is how play progressed to the withdrawal stage:

As always, I record the bonus rounds using the video capturing software Bandicam and posted the win to our Youtube channel:

Now that funds are available again to play with, a deposit of £50 will be happening at Videoslots casino in due course. As always, progress of how that money was played will be posted here on this blog.

Dead or Alive slot play at Slots Magic and Unibet casinos

Two small deposits for the day.

The first of the two deposits was £5 at Slots Magic casino. This casino has been very unlucky for me in the past, hence depositing only a very small amount of money. As per previous play at this casino, the session didn’t last very long. At £0.09 a spin, just the 201 spins were given by the slot. Total RTP for this very short but not so sweet session was a disappointing 72.7%.

Statistics for the Slots Magic session:

A few clicks with the mouse later, and Unibet casino was loaded into the web browser where I took advantage of a 25% deposit bonus. £25 was deposited that turned – like magic – into £31.25.  There was wagering requirement attached to this deposit bonus, but this was cleared pretty quick.

The Unibet session lasted a little longer than the disappointing one at Slots Magic. A total of 1,630 spins were played with 9 bonus rounds (one every 181 spins on average). The bonus rounds played an average of just 18x bet. Total RTP for the session was 84.3%.

Play statistics:

Since the last mega win yesterday, a total of 3,701 spins have been made with 17 features awarded by the slot. This is a disappointing  feature every 217 spins on average. The only good thing about this snippet of information is that things can only get better.

Dead or Alive slot play 4th September – we’re doing it all over again

Following the latest monster win, I withdrew £400 from Videoslots Casino and played with the remainder of the winnings – £74.64.

The usual strategy of playing £0.27 spins, dropping down to £0.18 and then £0.09 at the £36 and £18 marks respectively was applied. I didn’t expect another big win so quick after the last one, and the slot didn’t disappoint regarding this.

The session lasted a disappointing 1,870 spins playing a total of just the 8 features (once every 233 spins on average). The feature paid an average of 23x bet. Total RTP for the session was a very low 75.3%.

Here is the usual table showing how play progressed:

Today I will be depositing at Slots Magic casino and Unibet and see if the slot is going to give me the 5 scatters during normal play. Updates will follow during the day.
