Dead or Alive slot play with cashback at Videoslots on 21st August 2015

The excellent casino Videoslots offers a cash back scheme where 25% of the casino’s profits are returned to the players. By playing last week, I got notified of cash back totalling £13.59 this afternoon that I played through using the Netent slot Dead or Alive.

Effectively getting the spins “free of charge”, the money lasted a total of 877 spins at £0.09 a spin. During these spins, a total of 7 bonus rounds were triggered (once every 125 spins on average – very reasonable indeed!). They paid an average of 23x bet.

Play progressed as follows:

Since the last 5 wild line big pay out, a total of 6,949 spins have been played on the machine. Let’s see if it takes another 21,000+ spins to get them again! I am still awaiting the 5 scatters during normal play to add to the collection.

Another 3 sessions on Dead or Alive – 20th into 21st August 2015

As per the previous post, a balance of £89.26 was remaining at Videoslots to play with. I busted out on the money after 2,228 spins at a mixture of £0.27, £0.18 and £0.09 spins as the bank balance decreased as I went along. A total of 12 feature rounds were triggered during play (an average of once every 185 spins).

Play statistics are as follows:

I then swapped casino to Unibet where a total of £25 was deposited in the hope of a big win, preferably the 5 scatter 2,500x bet during normal play that I am trying to collect. A total of 1,704 spins were played with a total of just the 8 bonus rounds triggered by the machine (once every 213 spins). In summary – a very forgettable session.

Play statistics:

I decided to give it another go, this time at Casinoroom where I hadn’t played for a while. I deposited £50 which lasted 1,950 spins at a combination of £0.18 and £0.09 spins. I withdrew the same amount at the end of the session, effectively meaning that I had 1,950 spins “free of charge”. During this session a total of 10 bonus rounds triggered, or once every 195 spins on average. The last from one bonus round, in particular, was very good – paying a generous 352x bet with the additional 5 free spins triggered due to at least one wild appearing on each of the reels during the bonus round.

Play statistics for this session are as follows:

I have some cashback coming today from Videoslots that I will “invest” into this game later today, so watch this space regarding an update how that went.

Dead or Alive slot keeps paying

When this slot is in the mood, it gives to you again and again. Some 190 spins after the big win posted in the last post, it gave again – this time at a rate of 843 x the bet. There were no wild lines this time, but the extra 5 free spins during the bonus round resulted in another withdrawal at Videoslots.

Talking about withdrawals, Videoslots is super quick in processing them. The £500 that I withdrew today has already been processed and should be in my bank account tomorrow, depending on the speed my bank processes the credit.

Off now playing with the remainder of the money… and who knows… another post with a big win may follow in due course (fingers crossed and all that good stuff!)

Dead or Alive slot play 20th August 2015 – mega big win

Persistence does pay off and it was finally my lucky day at Videoslots casino. I deposited £75 to start off playing at £0.27 a spin. Not having any luck, and with the money dropping very fast, I lowered the bet to £0.18. That didn’t pay dividend either, so £0.09 a spin it went when the money dropped to £15.

Almost bust, a bonus round was triggered. Where these bonus rounds most of the time are disappointing, this one certainly wasn’t as the below video proofs. The so desired wild line dropped in very early during the bonus round and some high paying picture symbols did aid in getting a nice little withdrawal at the casino due to the 4,223 time bet win:

You too can be the next lucky winner at Videslots playing the Netent game Dead or Alive. Payments are very fast as this casino, every spin over £0.20 gets entered into the weekly slots race and you earn cash back to boot:

Dead or Alive slot session on 20th August 2015

As previously posted, Videoslots hosts a weekly slot race where each spin over £0.20 is entered into a weekly race. I managed to earn £20 from last week’s play which, added to some odd pennies sitting in the account, resulted in £20.04 worth of play on the Dead or Alive slot.

It was a very poor session with total Return to Player sitting at just 70.1%. This just shows the high variance of this game. You are going to have sessions such as these once in a while before the slot recovers and gives you back some money that has been put through.

With just the 4 bonus rounds during the 744 spins (once every 186 spins on average) and these paying just 25x stake on average and just the 1 winning line of pictures during normal play, the session was over relatively quickly.

Because the money was effectively free (I could have cashed the £20, I guess), I didn’t mind this losing session. It was another 744 opportunities to hit the big one which this slot is very capable of doing. The very next spin, if funds allowed, could have been the 5 scatters paying 2,500x bet or a wild line during the bonus round paying in excess of 6,000x bet.

Dead or Alive slot session on 19th August 2015

I carried on from the balance of the previous post (£25.41) starting off at £0.18 a spin. After some 140 spins with the money draining quickly, I switched to £0.09 a spin. The machine played different with good play time.

After some 940 spins in this session and 18,602 spins since the last time, the bonus round finally generated an extra 5 spins because there was at least 1 wild symbol on each of the 5 reels of the slot. Unfortunately, these extra spins didn’t generate the desired wild line (5 wilds on a pay line) and the pay out was a relatively paltry 94x stake.

Overall the stake of £25,41 played a total of 2,114 spins with a total of 11 bonus rounds (once every 192 spins on average) that paid on average 31x stake. The balance never went above the initial stake money. Five of a kind picture symbols on a winning line kept the play ticking over nicely as the below mentioned table shows:

Dead or Alive slot session on 17th August 2015

Another day, another session on Dead or Alive, this time at Unibet casino having deposited £25. The session started off with £0.18 spins till the money quickly went down to £18.46.

Change of tactic was needed, hence the drop of stake to £0.09 a spin. The minute this was done, feature rounds started to appear at a frequency of once every 40 spins! The balance quickly went up to £28 before it dropped again to £25 when I called it a day.

A total of 520 spins were done “free of charge” with a total of 7 bonus rounds (average of one every 74 spins). The bonus rounds paid an average of 31x bet with the highest one being 64x bet. Still no extra 5 spins that are triggered when wilds appear on each of the reels during the first 12 sets of spins during the feature. Still no sight of 5 scatters during normal play (which pays 2,500x bet!) but I did get 4 scatters during one of the bonus rounds and reels 1, 3, 4 and 5. Of note is that during the 520 spins, there were no 5 off a kind symbols on a winning line.

This is how the play progressed:

Dead or Alive slot session on 15th August 2015

Just completed another session, this time playing at Videoslots casino. Deposited £75 in the hope to hit the big one.

The session started off really bad when spinning on £0.27 a go. After just the 190 spins, I was down to £51.93 (the session RTP was running at 55% at that time!). As this was unsustainable, I dropped the bet per spin down to £0.18. Things started to pick up quickly and soon I was back up to almost where I started.

Time to change tactic again, and up the bet to £0.27 a spin again. This paid dividend to start with, because the balance soon crept up to £94.69. I kept playing but called it a day after another 170 spins, because the balance started to plummet again to my starting point.

I finished the session where I started having done a total of 1,291 spins effectively free of charge. During the session, a total of just the 6 features where triggered (once every 215 spins on average) paying out an average of just 47 x bet. Considering the potential during the feature round, this was a poor performance.

This is how the session progressed:

Did you know that when playing at Videoslots and you spin at a minimum of £0.20 per bet, each spin is entered into a weekly race with cash prizes to be won? Not only that but Videoslots has a very generous cashback system.

Dead or Alive slot session on 14th into 15th August 2015

As per the previous post, I do enjoy playing the Netent slot Dead or Alive. This time I deposited £25 at Unibet casino in the hope to (1) have some play time and (2) make some money.

As any slot player will understand, long term you will never beat the slot. The pay table and reels are set in such a way that the “house” will have advantage to the tune of up to 8%. In case of the Dead or Alive slot, it is set at a RTP of some 96.8%. This is calculated over millions of spins, something that an ordinary slot player will never play on any one slot machine.

The session lasted a good few hours and I did bust out. I managed a total of 1,104 spins at £0.09 a spin. During those spins just 5 feature rounds were triggered (once every 220.8 spins on average) which paid a paltry 28.8 times bet on average with the biggest win being 97x bet (£7.76). At some point during early play I was up £4 on the slot but didn’t think it worthwhile cashing out. Perhaps I should have done so, because the remainder of the play was dire to say the least (as the below table will show).

Thankfully the main reel play kept me going (the bonuses certainly didn’t, other than the 97x bet win) with a total of 4 whiskey jugs on a pay line paying £2 each.

Here is how the session progressed:

Dead or Alive slot – play history

I admit that I do like playing the Netent slot Dead or Alive. It has massive potential for great wins (well over 6,000 x stake!) but at the same time it is also quite highly volatile. If the slot is not in the mood, it drains your bank balance very quickly.

On forums elsewhere, you see screen shots posted of players appearing to win big time on a very regular basis. Whilst there is no doubt that these screen shots are real enough, the poster rarely lets the reader know how much money was invested in order to get that big win.

I have been very lucky with this slot because when I first started playing I had 3 very big wins at stakes of £0.45 and £0.54 per spin. Ever since, I have started to keep records of my play to see how this slot really plays for the average player that is not lucky enough to win big style during their first few spins.

The below graphic shows some statistics:

Since keeping these records, it tells us that a total of 14,747 spins were made. The feature round (where the big money sits!) was trigged 94 times, or on average every 157 spins. Return To Player sits at 88.4% with an overall actual loss of £438.35.

If anything, treat this slot with caution. You’ll need a big bank roll in order to be one of the lucky ones getting that mega win.
