A happy New Year and site update

I don’t believe that it is too late to wish all of the readers of the blog a very happy  and lucky New Year!

Since the last blog post, the Netent slot Dead or Alive has been on fire for me. Where previously I could not hit a wild line, they have been dropping in very fast since I started to play again back in November 2015. Since then, I managed to get a total of 12 wild lines plus one 5 scatter win paying 2,500x bet.

Needless to say, I am well up on the slot and I want to keep it that way. A more recent session took me back to reality with the slot playing very poorly. I will therefore give it a little rest playing at higher stakes and will only play the odd £25 deposit now and then at £0.09 a spin.

I also had some recent luck with the WMS game Wishing you Luck. This recently released slot has a number of different bonus games. I had big wins on two of these bonus rounds  – twice on the bonus reel with a £150 major jackpot and once on the free spins paying just under £200 on a £1.20 stake.

Here is a video that can be found on our Youtube channel showing one of the big wins on Wishing our Fortune at £0.40 a spin:

More recently I have been mixing up slots a lot with an element of success. I had good wins on Ruby Slippers (a slot by WMS), Raging Rhino (also by WMS) and Secret of the Stones (a slot by Netent).

In terms of casinos, most of my play is still at Videoslots Casino because the payments in case of a win are very fast, each spin over £0.20 is counted in the weekly casino race with real wager free cash prices and on top of that, there is cash back awarded and paid out (wager free again!) each Friday for the preceding week.

And finally an update on the website. I will get round to doing the slot section over the next few months. Work has been rather busy recently but things should quite down over the next few weeks.

In the meantime, I will post more news as and when I receive it and will keep the readers of this blog updated on how my slot play fairs.

Mammoth Dead or Alive session at Videoslots on 28th August 2015

Though I usually play at no more than £0.27 per spin and making relatively low deposits, given that it had been a while since I had the extra 5 spins (and therefore the chance of a wild line) during the bonus round, I thought it wise to deposit £300 at Videoslots casino and play at £0.45 a spin.

What I didn’t expect was such a long session. From deposit to having a balance of £41.18, I played a total of some 16 hours at £0.45 a spin. During all of that time, a total of 8,030 spins were made and the bonus round triggered a total of 57 times. During this mammoth session, the balance peaked at just £326 – not enough to justify a withdrawal. The total Return To Player was a massive 92.8% – very close to the machines theoretical RTP of 96.8%.

However, what didn’t happen was a decent win to warrant a cash out. And despite all of those bonus rounds, no extra spins were given during the free spin rounds.

Having a balance left of £41.18, I spent £32.18 on Raging Rhino that, as per the previous post, has just been added at Videoslots Casino. That money didn’t last long at all – just 200 spins without any bonus round.

The remaining balance of £9 plus a £7.50 win on Raging Rhino as a result of 15 free spins gifted by the casino, was “invested” in playing yet another session of Dead or Alive.

The £16.50 lasted a reasonable 1,825 spins and 10 bonus rounds at £0.09 a spin. The RTP for this session was a, once again, reasonable 90% on the nose.

Since the last 5 wild line win, a total of 26,486 spins have been made and a total of 170 bonus rounds played. Considering that a wild line happens approximately every 135 bonus rounds or so, statistically speaking I am due a big win soon.

With that in mind, I will chance my luck and deposit another £300 at Videoslots… an update concerning this upcoming session will follow in due course.

WMS Gaming now at Videoslots

The well recommended casino Videoslots has recently introduced slot machines by WMS gaming. The first of the slots added is called Raging Rhino.

With 4 lines across 6 reels, this a high variance slot that plays 4,096 ways. The highest paying symbol is the rhino. Bonus rounds are triggered by having 3 or more diamonds on each of the reels.

During the bonus rounds, the wilds are multipliers up to 3 times the value. The diamonds are still in play during the bonus round, so extra spins can be retriggered.

The potential pay outs are enormous. But, because of the high variance of the slot, there are many a dead spin during normal play and the bonus round is not easily triggered.

We are in the process of adding slot reviews to our site, and this slot is high on the list of those that will be entered first. So keep a look out for the review and further updates.

Fancy playing Raging Rhino too?
